I was searching google for information on VSC and found an active job listing, posted in May, for a new site manager at VSC. Either USCIS knew back in May that VSC was a mess and fired the site manager or he or she got fed up and left. The fact that they are still a mess 3 months later may mean that no one was stupid enough to take that job and responsibilty for that mess. They need to get their act together and start approving applications. :angry::angry:

2008-10-01 : DS-3032 and AOS bill mailed

2008-10-03 : Mailed DS-3032 Express Mail

2008-10-06 : Received DS-3032 and AOS bill

2008-10-06 : DS-3032 received at NVC

2008-10-07 : Paid AOS fee online

2008-10-09 : AOS bill shows paid online

2008-10-09 : Mailed I-864 package Express Mail

2008-10-09 : DS-3032 approved and IV bill available online

2008-10-10 : Paid IV fee online

2008-10-13 : IV bill shows paid online

2008-10-15 : DS-230 package mailed Express Mail

2008-10-23 : Case complete

CONSULATE

2008-10-27 : Visa package shipped DHL to Guangzhou

2008-10-30 : Visa package arrives at customs clearing center in Guangzhou (2-4 months for clearance)

2009-02-19 : Visa package released from customs and delivered (3 months & 20 days later)

2009-04-28 : Interview

01-25-2008: I-130 NOA1 Received

08-26-2008: I-130 NOA2 Approved

NVC:

09-02-2008: NVC RECEIVED CASE

11-19-2008: CASE COMPLETE

it is just another typical government office. I have never known a government office to be efficient, have you? LOL

02-08-2008- CSC receives I-130

02-11-2008- Received Hardcopy NOA1

08-14-2008- Approved!!! 216 days...

08-21-2008- NOA2 Hardcopy received

08-27-2008- NVC Receives file, NVC Case Number issued

09-05-2008- AOS Fee Bill and DS-3032 Generated

09-06-2008- E-mailed DS-3032 to NVC

09-11-2008- Received Hardcopy of DS-3032 and AOS Fee Bill

09-15-2008- Mailed Hardcopy of DS-3032

09-16-2008- Paid $70 AOS fee online

09-17-2008- Received E-mail confirming the DS-3032 Agent

09-17-2008- Printed Coversheet for AOS paperwork

09-17-2008- IV Bill Invoiced

12-16-2008- Sent I-864 EZ to NVC
