Well, we were delayed for awhile with a false RFE and this past week has been a headache because I was truly convinced they lost something. But this morning, the AVR said we're complete. Such a relief!

Now the wait for an interview. They just yesterday assigned interviews for completed cases through Mexico, so I have a feeling it's going to be another month of waiting, but at least I know we're clear on our end with the paperwork! :)

Long story short, we have a complicated case. We've been at this for nearly 5 years. You can read our story here. I highly recommend our attorney Laurel Scott, as well as attorneys Laura Fernandez and Lizz Cannon .

Filed I-130 via CSC in Feb 2008. Petition approved June 2008. Consular interview in Mexico, Oct 2008, visa denied, INA 212a6cii. We allege improper application of the law in this case.

2012, started over in Seoul: I-130 filed DCF on 7/2, I-130 approved 8/8, Medical at Yonsei Severance 11/20, IR1 appointment in November 2012.

We had a real RFE back a few weeks ago on the I-864, but I mailed that in and the AVR said it was received after the DS-230 was received. Then last Monday that RFE message popped back up in the system, and the operators said they were missing the very documents they had just received. So I ended up requesting a supervisor review our file. I was nervous that I had doomed us with that decision and we'd wait for weeks longer, but it seems like it worked out OK. :)

You will definately hear news by Tuesday or Wednesday because the NVC are processing the DS-230 so fast these days if there are no RFEs sent. You should call them on Monday and speak to a rep to ask if they have found any errors. I called on the 14th of this month with the same question and they told me that day it was completed even though the automated system did not update. Keep us updated and good luck. :thumbs:
