I just have to say that I really am sick of waiting for my daughter's permanent resident card, it's been 1 year and 3 months since we applied for AOS, she's only 12yo. Recently they asked for new w2's and I know my husband meets the guidelines, it's been almost 2 months since we sent them the nw ones and all they can tell me is that i might even have to wait another 60 days before i'm alowed to ask about it again. My congressmans staff are keeping up to date, but i'm finding it hard to understand why they dont just grant one, she was good enough or a k2.

Ohhh I am sorry to hear that! U should hear from them 90 days after applying... I am guessing now you have to wait 90 additional days after they recive the W2

hi mate

sorry to hear you are having a hard time with your daughter's AOS..

I remember another aussie having the same problem it was Kaffykat...

she applied on 23rd aug 06 and didn't get it approved till jul 07..

i know it isnt much comfort for you ..but you could send her an email to see how she

handled it..might be something she tried that you haven't..

hope all is well in cleveland otherwise..

REMOVING CONDITIONS

11th Aug 2008 - Mailed I-751 to CSC.

12th Aug 2008 - Application received

14th Aug 2008 - Cheque cashed

18th Aug 2008 - Received NOA-dated the 12th

26th Aug 2008 - Received Biometrics letter

4th Sept 2008 - Biometrics-Detroit-Complete-'Touched'

5th Sept 2008 - 'Touched'

1st Dec 2008 - APPROVED-Card production ordered -112 days

8th Dec 2008 - USCIS mailed approval notice.

8th Dec 2008 - Received my 10 year Greencard in the mail. took 2 days.

Although I have the above date for approval my card actualy states the

2nd December..

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......
