BIG NO NO NO. Di ka tlaga makapagmedical if my period ka. They will advice you to go back when you're done with your period. You can't have a urine test and there's a physical test wherein you have to take off everything.

Balik ka kapag tapos na period mo. Cge goodluck and God bless.

It's advisable to go on at medical exam with no menstrual period but during my medical there was few there who went with their menstrual period, they had the chest x-ray and blood test, they were only told to go back for the urine test and physical exam when their period finished.

It's best to wait for your period to finish before going for your medical so you won't go there for more than two days.

Good luck.

hello boyceedith, i am from Cagayan de Oro City, and i have the same scenario as you when i went to manila for my medical and interview. I arrived manila sunday July 27, coz i am planning to have my medical on the following day, sad to say, i got my period the moment I arrived manila, wheeeeeeeeeeew!!!! :crying: .

Since I am already in Manila for medical, i just tried to go ahead and have my medical in case they will allow me. Well, on that day, they let me do the urine test, blood test, X-ray, Immunization Interview, eye test, and some other small things like height , weight, pulse rate, etc. However, they let me come back after MENS stop, coz they dont allow me to do the physical and immunization when i have my period. Good thing is that, my period stops 3 days after. On that day i knew some other applicants who also have their period, but again, they are also told to come back after period stops for the physical and immunization. There was one there that she was not allowed to do the urinalysis, but me and the other one who i know that has the same problem, they allow us to do the urine test.

So, i would say, you can still have your medical but you have to wait til your period stop so you can have your physical and immunization done. But. if you are from the province, I understand you're from General Santos, try not to go to Manila until your period stops, since you just said, yours will usualy take longer. Just to be expense wise.

Good luck!

BEST to do the medical EARLY. Like a month or so. If additional test are required you stand a better chance of not missing your embassy interview.

I imagine you should be able to figure out when you will have your period.
