I guess if thats the case, I should be questioned too since my husband (fiance before) was with me during the time his divorced has been finalized. Well, who knows whats in CO's mind that time...guess I should be thankful in anyway.

What is your white slip for?

Questions for the U.S. Citizen should be reserved for the U.S. Citizen. No one would be more aware of the details of the divorce than the U.S. Citizen him(her)self.

Other than the circumstances leading up to my divorce from my Xwife, Sweetie knows nothing more than the dates of the divorce. Talking about my previous marriage simply did not dominate our conversations.

What a crock of Ummm, yeah

Exactly! so NOBODY knows whats in COs mind.... I know you will comment on what I said envy_me. Well, I guess we should just hope the OP the best and stay strong. Its just another AR case, hopefully it won't take long.

I don't want to start another "thing" here. :star: envy_me..peace!!!

To the OP: you didn't mentioned if the passport has been returned or not? or you did and i just misread it?If they didn't returned the passport then she is not DENIED. Yeah as you said just on AR.

What was your white slip/paper for?

The only thing checked was the line that states: WAIT UNTIL YOU HEAR FROM US:....

There is reference in that line.....with the documents marked above......with nothing above checked.

In several calls to USEM the only thing that has been mentioned is Document Verification.

That should have been ideal but there are a number of cases wherein the COs do questions about the circumstances or reasons for failed past marriages. I was lucky that the CO only asked me if my fiance was divorced and how many times but had I been asked about the reasons for those, I am confident I would be able to answer without batting an eye because me and my fiance have discussed this matter openly before.

But then again, I don't think previous failed marriages-divorces are big enough reasons for putting applicants on AR (unless there were criminal acts involved). It is more to do with the documents you present (or still needed) and/or the way the applicant carried herself/himself during the interview.

In your case and ArtGirl's case, there was white slip with nothing checked and only "wait till you hear from us".. it is most likely be just document verification and once they are done with that then you will receive the visa.

I could understant the frustration but just hang in there and continue to make follow up with USEM. You will have the visa soon.

God bless always.

Man...you've paid delbros month before the interview and still doing the DV something smells here...I may be on the same boat here (hope is not the TITANIC) he!he!he!. So you are on your 30 days pass...it may be on its way they say it may only takes 2-4 weeks. After 4 week if the USEM still giving me the same s%t I may get congressman/representative involve.

We have discussed the circumstances but not the legal procedings of my divorce.

Yes, this is the only concern I have discussed with Lourainne and Grace.

I could understant the frustration but just hang in there and continue to make follow up with USEM. You will have the visa soon.

Oh most definitley we will hang in there. This waiting will not get the best of us. Where others fail (DELBROS/NSO), we continue to make progress and get things done. Sweetie recently bought her dress in Marikina City and is boxed up ready to pack and our rings arrived yesterday. You should have seen her precious smile on cam as I opened the box to reveal our rings. As I opened the box I extended our anticipation with hand gestures and silly faces :P

Initially the problem was DELBROS could not find payment even though the replied with a confirmation text.

Just to clarify, is this a U.S. or Phils congressman/representative? I don't see how a U.S. congressman/representative could have influence over Delbros or NSO.

Thanks

I read a few post here they getting the same lips/garbage from USEM each time they call, so they got their representative involve here in the US and they got some result...one of them got the visa printed the next day. It wouldn't hurt but just a phone call and see what they can do. Goto this site read one of the reply: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=145160

I went to the Delbros web site I typed my MNL2008XXXXX01 number...wahlaaaa!!! here is the reply

Home :: Products & Services :: Shipment Tracking System

SHIPMENT TRACKING SYSTEM

Query Results...

MNL2008XXXXXX01

INFO DATE INFO DESCRIPTION

8/15/2008 2:13:48 PM SHIPMENT PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY

Is this a good sign...what is "SHIPMENT PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY" mean? Does it mean is being ship to the USEM or what?

TexPamp, try the web site se what you get...

If you were free to marry at the time you submitted your Fiance petition that is all that matters. It doesnt matter when you met. I met my now Wife one month before my divorce was final.
