hi i notice ur timeline, do you mean NVC already approved ur case? i just want to ask what are the docs needed for ds-230? is it neccessary to send all the original docs? i am feb 08 filers too, the only docs i received here in the philippines was the choice of agent, in my husband side he just sent two weeks ago his 1864 for me. what is the next step after that? hope to hear from u.

I'm very sure the marriage certificate MUST be original one. They also accept the certified one issued by the authorized agency. It is NOT the one certified by the lawyer or notary.

For safe, submit the original documents & translated certified ones. They should return to you at the interview time. Don't take all my words. You should do some research out there to make sure. Good luck
