i am approved guys. i am so happy. i am a Jan. 24' 08 filer. we filed at VSC and then my case was transferred to CSC last week. and within a week, i am approved. what is the next step? I know i have to fill out DS 230 form and I-864, but do i Fill it out and send the form to my wife who lives in india, or will she get a copy? I am filling it out for my wife. someone please help me soon. b

hi i notice ur timeline, do you mean NVC already approved ur case? i just want to ask what are the docs needed for ds-230? is it neccessary to send all the original docs? i am feb 08 filers too, the only docs i received here in the philippines was the choice of agent, in my husband side he just sent two weeks ago his 1864 for me. what is the next step after that? hope to hear from u.

You can fill out DS-230 and email it to your wife, she can take the print out and sign the part 1, part 2 of DS-230 should be unsigned. Also to speed up the process, ask your wife to obtain PCC from both police and passport office.

Plus get your NVC case number asap, call NVC hotline in a few days time, once you get your case number, then do email choice of agent and make yourself as the agent.
