I feel for you, waiting for just the Noa2 for a yr is a long time.

I wonder to those that are here, and are dealing with adjusting issues. If now, knowing what they know, would they do this again with a foreigner. Go through the pain immigration troubles, and then the adjusting woes. Or if they'd say, no way jose, this time I'd try it with someone already here in the US.

Sure. It was a huge pain in the #######, but it really could have been worse. Our AOS was less than smooth, but K1 was processed fairly quickly (about six months).

I'm not going to vote just because we were together almost the entire time so we didn't really have a long distance relationship. We had a month apart here or there but most of the time we were living together.

If I could start over from the beginning and wipe the slate clean, then no, I probably wouldn't do it again.

Definitely, no question about it. We spent a year apart, and it was frustrating (especially the 4 months of SARS), but we're stronger for it and it was certainly worth it in the end

Yes.. I wouldn't say that I like what we are going through right now. Infact, I really hate it. But I do love my husband so much and our relationship is more important than anything else..

Oh course I would do it again... I am doing this because I am in love, beside it's a "short-long-distance relationship"! In my case is a lil different thou, because I see my husband once a month or every 2 months! and we have a great comunication!!!

I've only just started the process so my view might not mean much.

As of now, yes... the frustration of the distance, waiting just to START, and trying to learn all the information was more than enough to physically stress me out. But I know that now it's a waiting game, and it's all worth it because he makes me happy.
