for those who have reached rock hard bottom

There's some people still waiting from Nov & Dec last year. Hopefully your cases will be transferred to CSC, as a lot of old VSC cases have been in the last couple of weeks. A few who have been transferred got their approval within one week after 250+ days of the file gathering dust at VSC.

I really hope all those who filed 7+ months ago get the transfer too

Hmm how can you say such think about CSC.

Also just to let you know in April and May 150,000 I-129F were submitted this year that's only for 2 months. VJ is not even 1% of the actual numbers out there. Even that INS hired 500 new hires 2 months ago.

Ingat.

this is for those who have reached rock hard bottom, for those who have gone into depression, for those on the verge of insanity... it is friday now which means another draining weekend for VSC victims with no hope for approvals. this is for the victims who feel emotionally tortured by all the waiting and for the bruised fingers clicking on the uscis site and finding out their petitions are " pending" amidst the wave of approvals at csc. lets give a toast to our wonderful VSC for the emotional stress, the financial strain and the pain of being apart from our loved ones. amen.:whistle::whistle:

I asked you on another thread. Where are you getting this "150,000" number from?

This is a response to that post from Fwaguy:

"This is very hard to fathom considering the DOS issued only about 50,000 "K" visas (K1/2/3/4) in the most recent reported year... and considering that no I-129F is needed for K2/4's the actual cases filed that completed is much less than that. So even considering a modest denial/termination rate, I cannot imaging 150,000 in a two month period at CSC. "

If you have an accurate source for this information, please share it. If you are just pulling numbers out of the sky, let us know that as well.

Okay, why do people read things but then twist into whatever they want to see. She was not saying anything against CSC. SHe was simply pointing out her frustration with VSC which she has every right to be frustrated. Regardless of if she is only 1% or .000009% of the work load, they are still too slow and far behind.

Hang in their Sasha. Whew. Don't worry you will get there but you may have to use a body shield everytime you post here soon.lol :jest:

I must agree with everyone here that has endured the pain of dealing with the VSC. We all have had to deal with a lot of emotional stress watching many approvals ahead of ours at CSC. We are happy to see that they are getting there approvals. But, it is putting us all in a stressful stiuation not only for us but the ones we love that are also waiting. I must continue to tell my wife our time is coming soon. But then I must keep it is taking longer then expected. I am a patient person and even my patience is starting to wear thin. Because once we get done with this we still must wait for the NVC aand then interview. I want to go visit my wife in December but can not make plans to do that. That is because I have no ideal were the ... I will be in this process and maybe need to be here to take care of something. SASHA go girl because we are all here sharing the same hardships.

Hey Freddy007/Ingat, you have no idea of what you just said, do you? You know, I am not here to wish anyone anything bad, but had you been in our shoes, I bet you would be cussing left and right because your status would still be reading "Case received and pending" even close to a year since filing. I hope that gives you an idea what the hell we're going through.

I hear you Sasha. Im an August filer ...my timeline sucks! Cheers!

Go and enjoy the time with your wife(if I were you I would go to Mt. Emei, climb to the top and enjoy the sunrise together, wish I knew Govi when I did that 3 years ago :) ) - if your luck is anything like mine they won't do a d@mn thing with your petition while you are away so you might as well see her if you have the time and money.

Seriously though, I am praying for all of us stuck here, esp. the 2/24 survivors.....

If you can wait until October or so to buy your ticket then I would wait and see if there is any progress - if no then I would go ahead and book my flight, though that might be cutting it short to get a good fare - my timeline is saying my case should be approved in Oct-Dec so if it were me it would be a tough call. Hopefully you will be approved before October and then you can plan to fly over for interview/POE.
