We only see a small sample of all the cases that go through USCIS, buthere have been members in the past who filed CR1/IR1 and got stuck in FBI name checks for a while.

The probablity of being held up because of an FBI name check probably has more to do with your name, and how common it is as this increases the likelyhood of your name matching matching or resembling someone that is of interest to them.
