Dear Deputy Chief of the Pakistan Embassy,

I am writing to request your help resolving an immigration issue. I have

applied for a K-3 visa for my husband BINGO was interviewed at the

Consulate in Islamabad, Pakistan on Aug 26 , 2005, and was told at that time that he could not be issued a visa at that time pursuant to Section 221(g). He was given a piece of paper which stated the following:

SECTION 221(g) prohibits the issuance of a visa to anyone whose application does not comply with the provisions of the immigration and nationality act or regulations issued pursuant thereto. The following remarks apply in your case: ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING

He was told he would be contacted by telephone in 4 weeks. It has now been over 4 weeks, and my husband has yet to be contacted. I have attempted to call the Consulate but have been unable to connect to a live person. I havesent several emails requesting an update on the status of our case and have received same response ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESSING . I would appreciate any effort you can make to inquire into the status on my behalf.

Our Case Number is as follows: #ISL2005#####

My husbands name, date of birth, and A# are as follows: Javed bingo DOB

Jan 1 19XX A# A0000000

Also just a personal advice to you, don't ask regular people about islam.........i would suggest that you ask a qualified person like a scholar/imam........Good Luck.......they are more qualified to direct you...........

well I knew my question was basic.. since this is the ISL forum

I knew I could get my question resolved fast. I am writing a paper for class. I wanted the correct name for prayer. they have it listed in the book 2nd piller pray 5 times a day.

the question was the second pillar of islam- what was the correct name?

Prayer is called Duas or Salat.

Duas is name of doing the prayers and salat is the action of bowing down on your prayer rug and going thru the motions.

Below are the 5 pillars of islam.

Kalima (Affirmation of the creed) To bear witness that God is one and Muhammad is His Messenger.

Salat (Prayers) To say five daily prayers at their appointed times.

Fasting.To observe fast during the month of Ramadhan.

Zakat. To contribute a certain percentage of wealth for charity.

Haj . To go for pilgrimage to Mecca at least once in one's life-time if physically and financially possible.

Dua and salat both are prayers but dua is refered to silent prayers and salat is refered to obligatory prayers (5 times a day).

Hello Cons and welcome to the VJ Islamabad thread. I will tell you that you are on the correct processing. You only get the NOA 2 once your case completes and is being shipped to the embassy. If you will click on my name and go and read my page it shows the steps and timeline on what will happen with your case.

To check your case status online you can go to https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/login.jsp and sign up for updates on your case. It will send you an email on your approval. I think your best bet is to call the telephone line and ask for updates on your case if you cannot access it on the automated line. You can find this number on your NOA 1.

To set up the timeline.

1. Click on your name.

2. On the next page at the bottom it has a edit my signature spot. Click on it and you can type in your story and it will show as a timeline at the bottom of your postings.

Welcome cons. I was new to this site about a month or two now and I was lost when i came here as well, Shon and mary and some of the others have been very helpful in my journey with the process as well. My case is going on two years old now. I have my I129 at the embassy undergoing AR and if I hadnt come here I would not have known to go ahead and file the I130 But now its filed and the forms are on there way here. Salam all how is everyone? was hoping to get on see all the

aprooved visas bye now. well Inshallah I will see some success stories soon here.

I feel bad for ya all ,,I know when I had to wait for my 11 months I thought it was torture but what is the average now everyones been waiting in pakistan? seems longer now these days?

but I am still betting most of your loves will be here before baby penut comes along here.

almost half way there for goodness sakes... I'll be just as glad as u guys believe me when that day comes haha.

I have favorate things now I stick to eating ,,mashed potatoes and most of all u wont beleive it beef!
