I know Shon I tried it twice when my package left for Islamabad but sorry to say I didn't like the way operators talk over there. NVC operators too good then DOS that is the reason I avoided to make a call to DOS.

DOS always tell you information FIRST.

example if they will send a letter to your wife.. DOS will tell you long before the embassy.

They hung up on my azz alot. but, I gotta do what I gotta do- that is inquire - about my husbands case. to hell if they talk ####### to me. I will hang up and try another agent. thats how I found out

we were on Security checks again and also when we got cleared. there are some really nice agents

and there are the a hoes too..

HOPE EVERYONE IS DOING WELL!!!!

UPDATE:

these are the email responses i received from the embassy in the past couple of weeks. these are confusing answers to the questions i asked ragarding my husbands K3 visa(which he is on AR/AP at the moment) and CR1 case (which arrived at the embassy last month):

Dear Madam,

We have received your husband's immigration petition from NVC and we will send him the interview letter upon completion of his K3 case.

Thanks

IV Unit

Dear Madam,

Certainly he needs to appear for his IR1 interview but he will only be interviewed after we are done with the administrative process on his K3 case.

Thanks

IV Unit

Dear Madam,

We cannot predict the time duration and also as we will process his immigration case i.e. why he needs to appear for his immigration interview. No he doesn't have to wait for the security clearance on his immigration case but still the final decision is only upto the Consular Officer.

Thanks

IV Unit

is it just me or are their answers confusing? does anyone understand what they are saying in these emails??

also,my husband said that they took fingerprints of his index fingers only when he had his interview back in april. is that good or bad? i mean, don't they usually take prints of all fingers?

he also received some documents recently in the mail from the embassy. he did not send them anything but just wrote to them saying that all of his papers/info are already in islambad. should he fill out these documents?

thanks and good luck to everyone and their SO's!

molly

cant wait until the next update, psoft i have a BS in Information Systems, got my degree back in 2004. I have like 3 years of experience, mostly in networking and support.

I was looking to start my MS in either IS or Accounting. LOL people overseas have this obsession with degrees, personally i could care less.

I have this friend who recently finished training in SAP, and got a contract job for a few months. So i am thinking of going through the same route. SAP pays good bucks, i know its not easy, But its worht it.

SHON: My wife is still in school until december 2006, and i am done with this school for now. I want to get that k3 visa as soon as possible. i dont care if she cant finish school, forget this school. Its not like she will be working.
