I have been feeling like giving up.. what does that mean? course its not like I can with draw the petiton not that I would want to. but, giving up is - no longer chatting and communicating with my sweetie. lately, communication is kind of not like it was.. :( we dont argue- not that.. we just dont have nothing to say.

because, we are hurting. chatting is old, talking on the phone is old. its getting too hard for us.

As suggested already, its never a good idea to stop communicating with each other. Having said that however, I not only understand your situation and the feelings that you and your husband (am I right?) share. And again, I would say perfectly normal to have dejected feelings. Having gone through these myself, my fiancee at times as well, they are fine and a natural way to vent one's feelings as long as they dont start to take over :) This being the key element. Dont let these feelings take you or your husband over. Its perfectly fine, when either one of you just wouldnt want to talk, because of reasons, or no reason at all. As far as the hardships go, they are literally and practically a part of life, and without them, you would never learn to be strong and brave enough, again having said that, not that we are made to fact extreme hardships, and can and do break down easily at times, so God-Forbid, that comes on anyone.

As for the talks and the moods being not what they were, trust me, it never stays the same, and somehow I like it that way. It brings about the best or worst in one at times... I would just say its normal, ride it out :) Offcourse since the stress is both ways, so is the love, and which is why the hurt :) But then again, somehow although that there is one partner that has to be strong, I have in my limited experience seen and witnessed girls to actually act stronger in emotional situations then men, offcourse thats a different story that when they break down themselves, all hell breaks loose :) but... Be strong, both of you... & Pray, & keep praying as much as you both can. That helps :)

Perhaps it would also be a nice idea to argue for no reason at all ;) Depends on how it works out, so dont just take my word for it, or I would be getting flamed and blamed for no reason at all :)

Chatting / Talking / Communicating never gets old... Sometimes you just dont feel like it :) Thats all...

& Last but not least, a marriage is what both of you make together :) Never stop loving each other :)

With best wishes for now and for an excellent future :)

P.S. If it wernt hard, what difference would it have made ? Now that its hard, and for both of you, its just more of a reason and fact that you two love each other so much, and want to go through everything in life together, just a little change in perspective does miracles at times ;) My $0.02...

hafiz30 and ars: nice to hear from both of you :) Thanks for the wishes :) Appreciated ...

shonjaved: You are welcome. Its sweet because <self promotion starts>I am sweet myself :P <self promotion ends> But seriously, glad to be of help... As for him being with you, Insha-Allah keep your hopes up, all of us have our prayers for you along with ourselves offcourse, and well he just might be with you just in time... :)

hafiz30: The counter very well depicts the journey, its timeline, its pace and somehow emotions associated with it ;) some thought went into it while customizing it... On a more second note, I didnt get what you meant by 'This date went from june 2 to june 25', we are talking about NOA1 allright... As for the link, yeah I went through it once, not thoroughly, but just a quick glance. Probably will have a look later, when I have some time at hands hopefully :) Till then, thanks for tips, and stay in touch :)

Touched means if you have an account with USCIS and checking status. It will show what date did the USCIS touched ur file. Every single time they touch your file the date will change! But you dont get any emails or anything! Touching is GOOD! But dont feel violated if the USCIS touches u too much! lol!
