Mary and Ishteaq,

I am sorry to hear the entry into the US was so difficult. Nothing like a warm welcome!!

I am glad you are together now. I'm sure the luggage is a hassle, but at least you both are finally in the same space. No late night phone calls and on-line chats. Best of luck from here on. Esp. with your upcoming medical adventures...

Ali says hello. Mian, thank you for talking with him about your experiences.

those suckers at the immigration office, they should not be rude. Stay home if you got problems. Dont bring it to work, this is not the freaking army

2 more weeks and hopefully my FILE GETS TOUCHED> I cant wait.

Those immigration officers are sons of a wiches. They had me interrogated 2 hours.

I came home and have a stiff drink! you dont want what they put you through in your head.

I was a mess the whole day after my interview. they make you feel like your gonna go to jail

and they make you think you are a lier. after a few hours you start to feel like well maybe

I am a lier and take me to jail - sometimes you cant deal with the hell they are dishing out.

Please pray for us.. I seriously cant take this no more. :crying: we have been going though this

last security check 50 days. we get nothing but canned responses. no one cares. we are just another meaningless ISL2005 case number. they dont care if we dont spend anniversarys togeather, holidays or birthdays. they dont care if my husband attend important events. they dont care if we can even touch. I feel like my freedom to love and be loved has been stripped from me. Perhaps maybe I never even had the freedom.

Those stiff shirt policy makers hide behind things they never once look at the family that is suffering. They care about Oil and war. sometimes they will kiss a baby or two. I supposed I am doing nothing more than ranting and venting. but, then again my crys my please fall on deaths ears too. all I want to be with my wonderful husband and we live our life in peace. no drama, no problems - just peacefully.

Shon,

I can understand your pain besides I know this immigration process is really pain in body

(not just in ### huh .). Especially for Muslims countries it is hard as rock. Be patience it will be over pretty soon.

Cheers!!!

My Lord, Continue to bless me that I may be a blessing to others. Keep me strong that I may help the weak. Keep me uplifted that I may have words of encouragement for others. I pray for those that are lost and can't find their way. I pray for those that are misjudged and misunderstood. I pray for those who don't know You intimately. I pray for those that don't believe. But I thank you that I believe.

I believe that God changes people and God changes things. I pray for all my sisters and brothers. For each and every family member in their households. I pray for peace, love and joy in their homes that they are out of debt and all their needs are met.

I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly.

Man is a wonderful creature; he sees through the layers of fat (eyes), hears through a bone (ears) and speaks through a lump of flesh (tongue).

Shon - I'm feeling much of your pain - you have been waiting much longer than I have and I wouldn't take away from that, which is why I say "much" of your pain. It's definitely a roller coaster - some days i'm fine and then others I'm a mess - I need reminders such as those from PSoft's postings (thank you very much btw Psoft) : "I pray that every eye that reads this knows there is no problem, circumstance, or situation greater than God. Every battle is in Your hands for You to fight. I pray that these words be received into the hearts of every eye that sees them and every mouth that confesses them willingly."

Deep down I know this, sometimes unfortunately I lose sight of this, and reminders at anytime is both necessary and appreciated - helps me get things in perspective. I pray for sabr (patience) for all of us who are in this process, and I pray that we all have speedy resolutions insha'Allah. Hang in there Shon - and everyone else waiting.

I have been feeling like giving up.. what does that mean? course its not like I can with draw the petiton not that I would want to. but, giving up is - no longer chatting and communicating with my sweetie. lately, communication is kind of not like it was.. :( we dont argue- not that.. we just dont have nothing to say.

because, we are hurting. chatting is old, talking on the phone is old. its getting too hard for us.
