hello!! hope everyone is doing well!!

i haven't been around for a while so i figured i'd give an update.

it's been 34 days since my husband was put on AR/AP... don't know how much longer it's going to be.

however, the nvc sent our other case (CR1 visa) to the embassy a couple of weeks ago.

-is my husband going to have to go for another interview?

-will the CR1 visa superceed the K3 visa?

-will the embassy give him the K3 visa even though he has another case pending at the embassy (CR1 visa case)?

-will he have the option of coming to the US on a K3 visa and applying for greencard when he gets here?

maybe some of you who have been in this situation can comment on what the embassy does when this occurs.

also, the embassy told my husband that they need the co-sponsors (my brother) 2005 tax transcripts??? what are these tax transcripts? i thought all they needed were the federal 1040 tax forms and W2??? that's what my husband gave them at the interview. has anyone else been asked for tax transcrits by the the embassy before???

thank you

molly

Salam,

I do not have answers of your all questions however few important things about tax returns you will find in my post.

* A tax return transcript shows most line items from your tax return (Form 1040, 1040A or 1040EZ) as it was originally filed, including any accompanying forms and schedules. It does not reflect any changes you, your representative or the IRS made after the return was filed. In many cases, a return transcript will meet the requirements of lending institutions such as those offering mortgages and for applying for student loans.

*The phone number to request tax return information is (800) 829-1040.

Being a Muslim I have some reservation about “Mothers day”

What is reason of been celebrating mother’s day? For us as a Muslim every single day of our life is mother’s day.

Imam Ali bin Hussain (a.s), the great-grandson of the Prophet, said: "Coming to the rights of relatives, it is the right of your mother that you should appreciate that she carried you [in her womb] as nobody carries anybody, and fed you the fruits of her heart which nobody feeds anybody, and protected you [during pregnancy] with her ears, hands, legs, hair, limbs, [in short] with her whole being, gladly, cheerfully and carefully; suffering patiently all the worries, pains, difficulties and sorrows [of pregnancy], till the hand of God removed you from her and brought you into this world."

Then she was most happy feeding you, even if she herself had no clothes; giving you milk and water; not caring for her own thirst; keeping you in the shade, even if she had to suffer from the heat of the sun; giving you every comfort with her own hardship; lulling you to sleep while keeping herself awake."

"And [remember that] her womb was your abode, and her lap your refuge, and her breast your feeder, and her whole existence your protection; it was she, not you, who was braving the heat and cold of this world for your safety."

"Therefore, you must remain thankful to her accordingly, and you cannot do so except by the help and assistance from Allah.

Man is a wonderful creature; he sees through the layers of fat (eyes), hears through a bone (ears) and speaks through a lump of flesh (tongue).

Hazrat Ali (a.s)

There are many people who feel the same way, people of different faiths too. Mothers day, Fathers day, even Valentines day. Do I need to be told by the marketing machine of America on which day I should honor and love my mother, father and wife? No. I do not.

Man is made by his belief. As he believes, so he is.
