(though it is posted on Main forum too but i want quick response)

Hello everyone,

Here is situation for me.

1) My interview was scheducled for Dec 27. They said to bring copy of Valid Business license of my sponsor and passport.

2) Then my interview rescheduled for Mar 2. They said bring docs mentioned in previous letter

3) Then Re-re-scheduled for 2nd week of May. This time They said: Bring passport(s)

Now as i was arranging the documents, i found that business license of my sponsor has EXPIRED. It was valid during the dates of scheduled 1st and 2nd interview date. Its expired on April 26.

Tell me what shoud i do as i dont have enough time to arrange copy of renewed business license.

will the fax work?

Secondly, in Texas, how much usually it takes for the renewal of business license?

waiting

-Dude

Well everyone looks like we finally made it out of our AP. Ishteaq went to the embassy today and they took his passport and he paid the courrier fees. We should have a nice new shiny visa in our hands in 3- 5 days. Thanks to everyone for their encouragement during the long process. Keep the faith and God/Allah will bless you in his time not ours. Laney his letter said he had to go before August since his medical expires then. He called me and screamed Congratulations to me in the phone at 5:10 am he had been at the embassy all day. They took his passport and courrier fees. That is all I know he is traveling home now and he has been going the past few days on 3 hours roughly of sleep. He will try and come online with more details today if he is able. I am so over the moon. Thanks so very much.

Omid he will tell me tomorrow of the details on his embassy visit and I will post. I do know that he was not allowed in until 10 am like the letter said. He sat until 1:30 pm when they called him and asked when he could travel he said Friday she said if not medical expires in August. She then tells him to sit and wait and 35 mins later he is called and a few persons ask him the same questions. Then they took his passport and said we have to send it via courrier so they gave him a token. Says it will be 3 -5 days for delivery. He is traveling back to his city and we will talk tomorrow. Plans are for him to be here around the 25th and JPs surgery is June 1st.

Hang in there and hope you have good news soon.

Did you guys already decided about airline & ticketing stuff? As you are in Alabama then Atlanta will be nearest POE for Ishtaq. Anyways again loads of congratulations. I read some where in your previous posts that you got a new name ‘FATIMA’?

If it is correct news then why you are not using it?

Imran,

He is still traveling and we will check into tickets later this week. I had to fly to NYC when I left on PIA and that was the only POE that I found when I flew to Pakistan. He said he would check into other companies before he makes the final ticket purchases. He is going to make a stop before coming to the USA as well. He plans on going to pay his homage in Saudia Arabia then off to the states.

The name is an issue in the family. My brothers and extended family in the states will only call me Mary. My family in Pakistan calls me Fatima and a few call me Mary-fatima. So it depends on whom is talking to me and how they each will only address me. :)
