It will be here soon. Man i am afraid of whats goign to happen to wife at the embassy. one of my friends wife had to go through so much bs at the embassy. Its been 2 years his wife stil not here.

Ok this is off the topic and i guess it relates to pakistan and this forum. I have a great idea, i think we should start a outsourcing company in pakistan that sends out protestors to all over the world. Since we are number one in strikes and protesting. NO matter what happens there is a hartal in pakistan.

The company will not discriminate based on race, religion, cast etc. All and any kind of protest, we will be able to send people. The protestors will vary in degree, from mild to very WILD. We can offer calm protestors who only hold signs and walk around or we can offer protesotrs who are experts in causing mayhem. I think there is alot of money to be made here.

what you guys think, of course please no serious replies only jokes and fun intended here. Dont make it a political discussion. lol. or i will have to bring out the protestors.

you can discuss anything you want here. just have to be all about the embassy

just so you guys know PIA(the best airline to pakistan) will now start offering direct flights to karachi, instead of waiting in lahore or islamabad. A ticket from chicago is about $1070 right now, it will go up in the coming months. PIA just purchased new planes so now they will go direct to pakistan skipping the stop in manchester england altogether, since no refueling will be required. Oh yes the funniest thing i saw on the plane was when we were waiting in ISlamabad, they had these guys come on the plane and do jharoo(sweeping with a wooden type broom) of the floor instead of using a vacum hahaha, that was too much, i was laughing my ### off.

he had Ranks on his shoulders. turned out to be a male flight attendant.

Is it appropriate to send funds to my wife before I land in usa? Becoz I heard that sometime they freeze ur accounts. I don’t want to be in that situation, so please help which is safe way either get a draft with me or remit to my wife’s account before landing?

you got 2 things confused.. you can send western union thats ok.

now accounts in the USA can be frozen if when you get in the USA and you

refuse to submit to the banks screening.

its a gate agent or ticket agent or operations agent.

each has diffrent functions. some airlines require you to perform all functions.

because, its an airline be prepared to go thought the back ground checks. they go back 10 years.

5 years must be verifiable. < FBI, FAA and customs clearance > 5 years resident check too.

the interview process is alot like for a Flight attendant. sometimes its just as compettive.

you have a GROUP interview setting, in front of a pannel. if they like you then you move to the next phase.

depending on where you will be needed. they will send you to that base. I am based in Dallas.

I had to relocate here. they dont pay for relocating!!!! I have worked for : ATA airlines, Champion, Sun Country and SWA.

to apply you apply online with the airlines of your choice or go to a job fair. let me warn you. most gate agents make well under 10.00 per hour. training is dayum hard. if you dont have prior experiance then

its gonna be tougher. most airlines you have to learn more than likely SABRE Reservations system

no matter what postion you seek. even in my job as an investigator i have to use SABRE res.

the airline may pay for your flight to the interview < most do >. I flew 1st class to MSP on NW airlines.

loved it. and I flew 1st class to San jose to my interview with Reno Air.

training is 3-6 months < paid > plus room and board. you have to pass your training or you get

elimnated. < fired on the spot > training is very intense. you will have a roomate. room and board is paid < normally you have someting like 7.00 meal voucher per meal. for transportation is paid for. you have 2 parts of every test. Written and Verbal. if you dont like talking in front of large groups- this job is not for you. you have to give gate annoucements, boarding annoucements, status updates. when the plane arrives you are the one that gets on the plane and do the WELCOME to BLAH BLAH BLAH- your luggage is located on carousel BLAH BLAH BLAH. there are REAL people that you are dealing with when doing a Verbal test.

normally employees of the airline. Written test is of SABRE entries. < its a whole new lang. >

if you are very sensitive. this job is not for you. you will be yelled at, abused and treated like #######.

I had a woman throw her roller bag at me when I was pregante. she got pissed off because, the over head bins are full. < denied boarding her Azz > banned her from flying with us. see the show " AIRLINE " on

A&E and see if this is something you think you can handle.
