GOOD NEWS EVERYONE........ WERE OFF AR, THANK GOD. NOW WERE WAITING ON THE 3.5 PACKET AND WERE DONE FROM THERE. TOOK SOME TIME FOR THE CLEARANCE BUT ITS NOW DONE. OMG I DONT KNOW WHAT TO THINK. SHON THANKS ALOT GURL ILL CALL YOU IN THE AM GOOD LUCK EVERYONE ON YOUR CASE MOVING AND GETTING VISA'S... GOD BLESS EVERYONE!!!! ............ :yes: SHEILA

Shelia that is great news. Good luck on getting packet 3.5 for the CR1. Could you tell me your timeline and how long was your AR? I did not see a link with the information. Congrats again.

Mary I have posted the time line but hang in there with me , some of the dats that are not filled in is cause its been so long since i have filed that stuff and lost the dates in my head and am to lazy to find them lol.I have been on AR since june of 2005 and didnt get the cr1 even done till this year cause I didnt know I needed to get the cr1 done, but thnks to Shon she has led me in the right path and since then I have been getting movement on the case....... sheila :dance:

10-11-06 - Inquiry sent through USCIS to add middle name

Thanks omid. When I called the embassy they told me that there waiting on the descion from the officer on the k-3 but I dont want the k-3 were at the last steps on the cr1 so were going to take the cr1. The packet is being being sent out on the cr1 and then we should get approval on that one instead of the k-3. Its worth waiting a couple more weeks on the cr1 rather then him getting here on the k-3 then we would have to go through all this again, no way lol Id rather for it to be done before he gets here. They might go ahead and issue the Ir1 instead of the cr1 cause its 2 years and 1 month since our marraige.Im praying anyway that he gets the cr1 or the Ir1 not the k-3. Wish me luck and Good luck on yours. :thumbs: Good luck on your trip, hope it goes well like mine did, I loved it there just like the first time I went in 2004, It was lovely both times we went. Shon - I have a question for you... You've explained the whole process of how the file goes through the visa review meetings at the end of the month, then DOS, then back... I was wondering where you got that info from? and, Is that something specific to ISL or is it standard for all embassies?

I got it from the CO at the embassy. he explained to me how it worked.

Need your Prayers, Went for Police certificate today, will get it on Saturday.

hey Do i have to send my Passport too with packet 3.5? it says

no dont send passport. send passport COPY!

my husband got his police report in ONE DAY. I dont know how he mangaged

to get it so fast. he sent the packet today. should be at the embassy tomorrow. :dance:

Hello Everyone,

Today was my weekly call to DOS. I talked to lovely Barbara again and she said we had not had any changes this week again. Said to call her back next week if it makes me feel better and that they will contact Ishteaq once the embassy is ready to proceed. So nothing new to report on my status this week. Just hope by end of month maybe some good news.

Atif I pray for everyone on the boards daily so your taken care of on that one. And only a copy like Shon said of your passport is needed. Good luck and keep us posted.
