All,

good news, my brother just got his visa after being on AR for almost 3 years. He was given the visa couple of days ago. Matter of fact they didn't stamp his visa, they were out of VISA stamps (stickers), they told everyone who was approved that US embassy will receive VISA stickers within a week and then your passports will be mailed via fed-ex. For menawhile they gace my brother a Purple sticket which they said show to Fed-Ex folks to receive his passport. So atlast his long AR journey has ended. Does anyone have experienced the samething? has anyone's relative was told similar thing lately. My brother was saying everyone was approved for visa had the same purple sticker.......

I just wanted to share this news with everyone...

now its time for shonnies news...

Javed called the embassy last night. they said they recived the file for our CR1 on tuesday. Javed asked them does he have to interview again? they said "NO" that they received all the information that they needed. they got everything from ME and from Him. he asked them where they gonna send a packet for him- they said "NO". they will contact him in 2 weeks MAX. they said it could be in 2 days but in 2 weeks max. they asked him if he has the brown token he said yes. and they verified the number. they said the Case is right now on the desk of the CO.

I am hoping as well that finally this dubage is over and Bingo will be home with his Bingie!!!

That is wonderful news. I am hoping that he is called before two weeks but hey two weeks is not bad at all. Kids will be so happy to hear this news like mom is here today. Keep us posted and rock on Islsambad. :dance::dance:

Mary, have you tried calling the embassy lately??? They should have at least replied to your email by now... maybe talking to a live person may get you some info...

the embassy has its "REVIEW MEETING" next week.

this is where all AR/ AP cases get the recommendations!!!!

I hope everyone get out of AR/AP hell.

laney and mich. convinced me to call.

I was not even thinking about calling the embassy.

so mary see if hubby can make a quick call.

We all need to remember these things, these are basic things but we forget them so easily. That its Allah who has wirtten everyone's fate. What will we do at what time and where we will go when. All we could do is try and if it meant to happen (only by the will of Allah) it'll happen. These CO's can put objections and run an AR all they want. Its not US embasy who decides who can and who can't go to USA. So give all of your attention to Allah...

that reminds me of these 2 verses of Quran from Sura Muzzammil.....

073-08: And remember the name of your Lord and devote yourself to Him with (exclusive) devotion.

073:09: The Lord of the East and the West-- there is no god but He-- therefore take Him for a protector.

I am going to have Ishteaq called the embassy on his Friday in few hours. LOL I have sent two emails and no response and the senator has not had any luck or called me. I will try and contact the senator's office again tomorrow after I talked to Ishteaq. DOS is not saying anything but they finally have a note that I emailed the embassy on 11th. Maybe she has more info but not sharing. I agree next week could be week for all good news.

And Dood your so very right in saying it is in Allah's hands. We discuss it and always say to each other to pray for patience since it is at his timing and not ours. But Islamabad really seems to be working the older cases now.

DEC 2004 Approved

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.
