May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.

GUESS WHO HAS A CR*P LOAD OF CLEANING TO DO THIS WEEKEND??

ME!!!

Nas got to the Embassy about 9am, turned in his interview letter and chat session then proceeded to wait!

He was there until after 5! They called his name, said you get your Visa - we are sending to Karachi on Friday. Time to hunt for plane tickets!

i'll post more later....... thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers. I'll send some mojo back your way!

well here's my response from the embassy :( - I don't know what made me think it would be anything but -

Dear Madam,

A search of our files indicates that this case is still undergoing additional necessary administrative processing as part of the security clearance procedure. Visa applicants affected by additional screening should expect delays before the case is concluded. It is difficult to predict the amount of time that the clearance process will take. As soon as it is complete, we will contact the applicant for continued processing of the visa application.

Hello Everyone,

Cindy glad to hear Manny will be home in week and all about the upcoming marriage details. We are very pleased that you are finally being reunited.

Laney my kids and I are so excited for you too. I know it has been long AR and now you can finally look forward to visa in hand this coming Friday.

Omid I am sorry you are getting the same response on your calls to DOS and embassy. Hey I wrote the embassy and they never replied you did good to get a response. Hang in there and hopefully we will hear good news soon.

Shelia is getting ready to go to Pakistan. Wishing her a safe trip and warm reunion with her husband.

Atif was approved on his K1 at NVC this weekend. So good luck on your case going to Islamabad.

muhammadzubair75 see you posted and wanted to say welcome.

Now for my news. Still nothing from the embassy or DOS. I will try and call DOS again this afternoon or tomorrow for my weekly no information news.

Good news and Bad news for JP. They removed the growth from his ear and replaced an ear tube. Bad news is the major surgery will have to be scheduled in few weeks to month out. The cholesteatoma has returned and will need to have it repaired again for the 8th time. Dr. says surgery is too risky at this hospital and need to go to another one. Please keep us in your prayers.

Sorry for the essay and I know many regulars are not posting. Good luck on your journeys and always everyone is in my thoughts and prayers.

Laney he is at home now. We have to schedule larger more extensive surgery within one month. He is upset about the other surgery but is doing great from the one today. Thanks for asking and he is sitting by me and grinning ear to ear. :D

Shon emailed me and he was so happy she asked about him too. He said aww mom they are so sweet.
