Cindi and max got their visa in hand.

ZR got her visa in hand too.

I got my case sent to ISL.

Sheila is 9 days from reuniting with her hubby!!!! wowoowwow lucky duck!

michigan- chin up hopefully you will be off AR!!!

Omid- chin up post often and rember we are here to support you.

Mary - hey girl grab some of that MOjo from Cindi..hahahaha

Laney- you get some Mojo From cindi too - she has alot of it. chin up ok!!

Waiting for interviews!!!! those that are waiting for interviews good luck. let me know when you finally get it - so we all can count down with you. in the mean time -post often!!!

Hello Everyone,

Here is quick update. I have to take JP back to the ear surgeon today and please keep us in prayers that we are not facing major surgery. I did email the embassy this weekend and asked them to update us on our AP since we are now past the 45 business days. I did not hear back from them. Ishteaq was going to call them and inquire and we will talk later today. I do not think he got any answers or he would of called me with good news.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. And come on Islamabad and lets release some more visas this week.

DEC 2004 Approved

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.

I see there is alot of good news since I last checked.

CONGRATULATIONS Cindi!!!! Finally!

Shon, glad to hear that CRI is at the embassy now ....should not be too long now.

Mary , you're next!

Hope that all of you on AR do not have to wait for long. I know how difficult it is, but remember it can not last forever. I wish you all luck.

I am going to fly to Chicago tomorrow to meet Abdul. His flight arrives at 2:30pm , mine arrives at 2:05pm, I will be waiting for him. I am sooo excited!!! After so long on AR I still not can not believe this day is finally here. If anyone has any info about POE experiences in Chicago for Pakis , please share. I am nervous for him , hoping that they do not give him a hard time. Keep us in ur prayers.

Have a safe trip and wonderful reunion with Abdul. I am very happy for you both since it has been a long time coming.

Joel,

Had a lovely baby daughter born and it is posted on the other thread. I wanted to say congratulations to him and his wife on their lovely addition and to let everyone here that may of missed it know.

We got back from the ear surgeon and we will be having surgery next Tuesday. It looks like we will not have to have the major cholesteatoma repairs this time, amen. They are going to have to remove a polyp or cyst that has closed the ear canal and it not clearing with antibiotics. Just remember us in your prayers if you will. Each surgery they have to remove his ear off the side of his head and we face the possibliities of more hearing loss, facial paralysis, just to name a few issues.

Ishteaq called the embassy and was put on hold three times and they never came back. He will call them again tomorrow. Cindy or anyone know a good time to call please post. I will then inform him before I go to bed tonight.

Good luck everyone else and hope to hear good news out of Islamabad this week.
