there are places here in dallas for Huqqa. :lol:

There are several places in Houston for Haqqa or Shisha. One of best is Bi Jaan.

I m on Wilcrest and Richmond....

Wow, so do you like Houston ?

its great as far as everything else go....now weather is another story....I hate hot weather.....

I called the embassy last night at 3 in the morning... took 30 mins of ringing before I s/w someone... asked for a CO, was told they were at lunch; person I s/w said the system shows cable received, and should be 7-10 days for someone to review.... so I'll call back in a couple of weeks insha'Allah.

04-29-05 - NOA1

07-29-05 - NOA2

01-06-06 - Interview - Admin Processing

04-13-06 - Day 97 since interview - Full set of prints taken at embassy - 3 sec checks requested from DOS

07-07-06 - Cable sent back to ISL

07-20-06 - ISL sending "call-in" letter w/ some add'l docs req'd

07-25-06 - Visa issued (15 months after filing including 199 days of AP/AR)

08-03-06 - POE at LAX

08-26-06 - Married

09-02-06 - Social Security Card Arrives

AOS/EAD Timeline

09-29-06 - AOS & EAD off to Chicago via USPS

10-01-06 - Rec'd 9:13 pm // signed for by R. Mercado

Oah man. Houston is famous for its weather, it has 8 months summer :D I love Houston’s summer and always enjoy to workout, tennis, biking @ 100+ F.

Who is MO? Yea i still live in OC. i am very close to disneyland.

Insha'Allah .... it's the best experience - I went about six years ago, and I would love to be able to go again insha'ALlah... when is it this year - November?

interview: SEOUL

MArch 21st , 2005AR for special security clearance,washington

May 18th tranfer case from Seoul to Islammabad

June 21st security clearance done

June 28th online at the embassy in Islamabad

waiting for paper transfer and the good word

OCTOBER 14TH 2005 Interview Number 2: ISLAMABAD, PK

AR number 2 sent to DOS per Islamabad (2 cable request)

Nov 22 okd updated financial and etc proof accepted / embassy waiting for security cables

dec 20th one cable back waiting on 2nd

Jan 17th.. good word recieved. SECURITY CHECKS ALL CLEAR!!! DOS says embassy to contact him within two weeks!!!!!!

FEBRUARY 10th, 2006 VISA RECIEVED!!! They called him In via phone, stamped his passort and sent him on his way!!!

FEB 28th WELCOME HOME>>>POE CHICAGO did not even look at xray, few questions. one hour wait at Poe

march 10th marriage (nikkah at the islamic center)

aug 2006 AOS interview, cond 2 yr GC arrived september

June 2008 applied for removal of conditions on permant residency aka awaiting for 10 yr greencard

Dec 2008 10yr green card approved, no interview.

Ok tomorrows dilemma: Manzar is getting a wisdom tooth pulled (maybe) he needs it, but he said if the tooth is pulled then it will affect the eyesight :bonk:

come to think of it , i needed contacts after my wisdom teeth were pulled ;)

I got possessed. I decided to call the Embassy. :bonk:

I had a moment of stupidity hit me. :angry: so I called its the same old chit.

ADMIN PROCESSING. but, the fellow said ADMIN PROCESSING in their office.

the goes. " I see you been on ADMIN PROCESSING a YEAR- I am sorry about that.

but we dont know how long its gonna take :lol: " I dont know what the hell he was laughing at

it was not funny to me. :angry: I said so your gonna send a special letter so Javed can get his

medicals done. " he sayes yeah. and he is gonna need new police reports " dayum genious :bonk:

the long and short if it is DONT CALL THE DAYUM EMBASSY! :bonk:

Yes I m a father now. My daughter is about 5 months old. I m posting here again since my wife and daughter are in pakistan and I have some extra time on my hands. hows it going with you?? I know you and jun talked cause I just talked to him last week..... :D
