Today’s interview in a glance

Just spoke with my wife and I am trying right now to summarized everything in the best way I could.

There were total two short interviews the first one conducted by desi CO @ window 5 around 9:00 a.m. in which he asked following questions.

1, what is your husband’s name?

Wife answered that question promptly (very simple question)

2, what he does for living?

My wife, he is Software consultant

3, where he lives in States?

My wife: In Houston Texas.

4, When did you guys married?

My wife: Nov 14, 2004

After this short interview which hardly last for four minutes desi dude asked my wife please sits down we will call you again on your turn.

At 1:00 p.m. (after 4 hours of waiting) American CO called my wife’s name (please come to window 6).

American CO. where you husband lives in CO?

My Wife: Houston Texas.

American CO. Do you have your wedding pictures with you?

My wife: Yes I got ‘em and hand over three albums to him. (He watched few of ‘em but didn’t ask any question)

American CO. why your family relocate almost every year between Karachi & Lahore?

My wife: because of my father’s job.

American CO. What your father does?

My wife: (Country manager of one of the largest U.S company in Pakistan)

American CO. Wow, that is great..

what is your father’s name

My wife: replied my father-in-law’s name

American CO. Congratulations, Mubarak hoo ap ko (whew gora was speaking Urdu). your case has approved for CR1 visa. You will receive your all papers with your passport via Amex in one week and then he took my wife’s fingerprints

It was hardly 10 minutes game however it took her almost seven hours. Thanks Lord due to last night rain Islamabad’s weather today was not bad at all.

Wsalam.
