hi Psoft

since 19 April you have no response from consulate? no interview date?

it looks that they will take one year in counsulate for processing

Well my case completed on 13th of June 2006, When should i expect, interview date, and meanwhile how should i prepare?

Fooki

Islamabad embassy is very busy due to all Internet marriages & as per Shon some sort of amendment in immigration laws that is the core reason they are very slow in scheduling an interview. It seems to me I have been waiting from centuries. By the way what is your priority date? Right now ISL issuing October, Novembers interview dates.

NOA1 & NOA2 both have same receipt number (i.e. case number) that consists of thirteen characters (3 alphabets – prefix & 10 numbers) 3 alphabets represents the service center you submitted the petition (e.g for Texas Service Center It should be TSC for California service center it should be CSC)

The fever of celebrating different days is catching up with Pakistanis, and Father’s Day is no exception. This is despite the fact that a vast section of society frowns upon marking of special days, calling the trend an evident aping of the West.

The third Sunday of June is celebrated as Father’s Day in some 25 countries, Pakistan included. On this day, fathers are given presents, invited to dinners and made to feel special.

As the day approaches, retailers pounce upon this opportunity of boosting sales. Items most popular and sought after for Father’s Day are cufflinks, wallets, watches, mugs, cards, shirts, pens and exclusive stationery.

While the shopping splurge witnessed in the run-up to Mother’s Day was clearly not there a week prior to June 18, children nonetheless seemed enthusiastic to celebrate Father’s Day in a befitting manner. The News talked to different people about their plans and preparations for the day and recorded their special message for their dads.

Iqraa is a student of ACCA. She agrees that Father’s Day should be made as special as Mother’s Day. She says she will make it a memorable day for her father as she loves him dearly. She plans to bake a cake or cookies and present him flowers.

Message: “I want to tell you that I love you very much and thank you for giving me confidence and helping me every step of the way.”

Maria Khan is an MA student at Karachi University. Maria favours celebrating Father’s Day as she feels it is a good way of letting him know how much he is loved.

She plans to buy him a shirt and a cute card to go with it. Though she fully realizes that they are next to nothing when it comes to appreciating her father’s care and love, still this serves as a token of appreciation for him to let him know that he is being loved and not forgotten.

Message: “I love you very much and thanks for supporting me and giving me confidence”.

Saman Rehman is an ICOM student at PECHS College for Women. She maintains that these celebrations are of significance as they give “someone” special feelings of being remembered and loved. “We don’t need to show the world how our father is truly beloved to us but just to make him realize that we can never forget him and he will always be dear to us. I think there’s no harm in following the trend.”

As for the present, Saman plans to cook her father some of his favourite dishes with flowers and cards.

Message: “Abbu, I love you very much and I pray that life brings us all the happiness and gives you the best of health.

Azka Ahmad is a student at Mama Parsi High School. She says the day gives a feeling and a sense of praise for the father as he plays as important role in a child’s life. She plans to give him a wristwatch with a nice card and also a pen.

Message: “Daddy, I love you very much and thank you for doing everything for me that has made me a complete human being.

Fariya Arooj is pursuing her bachelors in architecture from NED University. She is of the opinion that celebrating Father’s or Mother’s days are all formalities that we shouldn’t follow. She believes that “every day is a father’s and mother’s day”.

She says she often gives gifts to her parents and will do so as a routine on this day as well.

Message: “Nothing in the world can replace you and your love. I love you for what you have done for me and my career. I pray for your long life.”

oh man 4 months and 21 days,

Muhammad Asif alias Langra, who had been living with an artificial leg and a paralyzed arm and running a snooker club in the locality, was shot dead by police late on Friday night.

The area police claimed that during routine patrolling in Faqeer Colony they spotted some persons sitting suspiciously. Police stopped their vehicle and a policeman Asghar got down to check them, when he was allegedly attacked by them and sustained injuries. The police party responded the fire that caused injuries to Asif alias Langra, while three others slipped away from the scene.

He was taken to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The medico legal experts said that the deceased had an artificial leg while his left arm was paralyzed. The area people said that though the deceased did not enjoy good reputation, he was running a snooker club in the locality.

Well, in my opinion Islamabad should give me some relaxation because of my priority date that is December 09, 2004. Everything else on Almighty let see I can only pray.

A, Yes, you will submit it again DS230 I

2. What do i need from my spouse(USC) e.g copies of I-130 or NOAs or

A, Good Idea to have I-130 however approval notice is must

3. as you know all Mother name on birth certificate in rural areas is not mentioned, same with me, is that

A, In Pakistan you can get birth certificate of any type  (Urdu, English, Arabic even in spanish  ) spend some 'RS'

You should have to have three years of tax returns or tax summaries so ask your wife send you that along with Employment verification letter.

Also if co-sponsor is involved in your case then his/her tax returns or tax summaries and other financial documents required.
