Hey everyone, new member here!!! Hope to provide and receive valuable information.

I was wondering whether calling your respective service center does any good. Has anyone who knows or has been recently approved called to have someone look at their case sooner. Has this worked for anyone?

Also, if they are supposedly upto Jan/Feb for the 129F now in August, does that mean it will take them 1 month to complete the fliers filed in 1 month? So since my 129F is filed in May, will it likely take 3-4 more months from now?

Consulate: Chennai, India

I-130 sent: 4/20/2008

I-130 NOA1: 4/24/2008

I-130 touched: 4/30/2008

I-130 NOA2: 9/22/08

Days from NOA1->NOA2: 151 days

I-129F sent: 5/6/2008

I-129F NOA1: 5/13/2008

I-129F touched: 6/20/2008

I-129F NOA2: 9/22/08

Days from NOA1->NOA: 132 days

K-3 Visa Interview: 11/13/08-Approved!!!

No amount of calling gets the case processed any faster, all you get from calling is case status, which usually is no different than what you see using the online status website.

Now if your case goes past the posted processing time on USCIS site, and you call them, the standard answer is to call back in 30 days.

no matter how many times ur gonna call the service center they will jsut get annoyed but it wont mean they would process ur papers first..goodluck!

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......

11.20.07 : mailed I130

01.23.08 : NOA1

04.21.08 : mailed I129F

04.22.08 : NOA1

05.14.08 : NOA2 both for I 130 and I 129F

06.26.08 : medical exam 2nd day PASSED!!

07.09.08 : interview day! PASSED! PINK SLIP!

07.15.08 : visa on hand!!!

08.01.08 : POE SFO (home with my papi!)
