OH my...haven't been to this forum in a while and here's all the requests for me at the top of the list. I will add all the names I see since Gemmi. Please save to your computer because it sends repeat emails everytime I add to the list. So I just untick the previous when I add new ones. If you should get a repeat email, then you'll understand why.

Anybody else in the future, it's best to PM me because I haven't been keeping up with all the forums lately. Got married, filed marriage license to get official certificate, mailed AOS, got Social Security and bank account...all this week.

I posted this in another thread because I think they may have changed things a little.

I've had some PMs from Magpie and I think maybe London has changed their P3??? Dunno, but she mentioned IV18a, which is all the medical info, same as what I have. When I was describing IV-15 and that the first 4 pages are what's considered the checklist, she wrote back that she has IV-19. So I haven't seen her docs, but do you think IV19 is a new version. Mine says IV15 April 2008 in the bottom corner. Magpie is stressed out and kinda lost, so I'm having trouble understanding what she got. Can anybody else with a P3 from this month tell us if the document name and date says other than IV15 April 2008?

Ok, so what further makes me think there have been a few changes since we got the visa two months ago is the website. I was looking at a bookmark so I could send the link to Mag and the page reads differently now from what I've been referencing since we filed. This is the page http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/iv/ds2001.html Now it does refer to immigrant visa, and the K1 is non-immigrant technically. However, the K1 info has been lumped under immigrant on the London website since the documents for the interview are so similar. There is a new form mentioned on that webpage the DS-2001. Look at the bottom of the webpage. Part of what it says is:

Notification of Applicant Readiness

Introduction

You may notify the Immigrant Visa Unit that you are ready for an interview by using this form DS-2001. The form indicates that you and your family members (if applicable) have obtained all the necessary documents for the immigrant visa interview.

So my opinion is...there is no more checklist. Could that be? You read their list of documents needed, gather the things, and turn in that one page DS-2001 to let them know you are ready for the interview.

The one thing I see on that page that would be different for a K1 is the Affidavit of Support. They refer to the I-864, but I still think that the I-134 may be used for K1, non-immigrant visas. It says that on this page about fiance visas

http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/visa/...processing.html

Also note in the upper right, links to further information.

This is totally new...the FAQ page http://www.usembassy.org.uk/cons_new/faqs/...a_iv.html#iv038

Nich, they must have JUST updated their website, because just last week, I was on the website and these new-looking web pages were not there. One nice thing I see is that they have emphasized the return address for sending the documents back to them much more clearly now....among other nice updates.

I wonder if they will streamline their telephone and email response procedures too :(

But, the instructions for turning in the DS forms right away is still emphasized, thus my previous response to another poster concerning this.

Hi Stevi. Yes the address addition was a good thing.

Magpie and I cleared up the mystery. We traded scans. They sent her enclosures that should come with Packet 4. They left out the IV-15 instructions and checklist so that's why she was so confused. Looks like IV-15 April 2008 is still the latest info.
