Hi. I had to work today and didn't see your email. I sent access again. You may have to have a hotmail account to open it, but you gave me a gmail address. I think somebody else had a problem because the access was under their aol, but they were putting in a different email to try to open it. Right now your access is under the gmail account so try to use that. It was Stevi that was having a problem but I think she figure out what she was doing wrong.

And here's the deal (for anybody who has or wants the P3 scans) It's 20 pages and probably 7-8 MB, so way too much for attachments. And the stupid Sky Drive has quirky things. I add a new email and save the permissions and it sends out a new email to everybody from the past. So when I discovered that, I unticked all but the new one to keep from spamming everybody else. If you get to the files, open and save them to your computer right then. Because when somebody else comes along, I will untick your name to keep from sending out another notice. Does that make sense? So Sunnybear, you were unticked, but now you're not so go figure out how to do it. It seems to work for most everybody. I will just leave you ticked and you will keep getting emails over and over, but you'll understand why. And if your man wants to open the folder, I have to have his email to give him permission, unless he's logging in as you.

OK, hope that wasn't too confusing.

Hi All,

Yes, that was me who was having trouble at first opening the packet, but it was only because I was using the wrong email account. That was such a nice thing for you to offer all of us Nich.

Of course, after I took all of that time to download the packet and take them to the post office, send them Priority International yesterday......Taiwo gets the actual Packet 3 (that I emailed them on Monday requesting an address correction) from the London Embassy. They were right on the mark with the turnaround time.

But, I have found that this process has been one of the most challenging learning experiences of my life. No college course or school book can compare to this visa journey experience. Meeting people from every part of the world I can imagine, getting this wonderful assistance from others who are going through the same journey, finding strength during those tough times when it feels like "me against the world" in the the land of visahood.....

This visa-gettin' ain't no joke!

But it's all in the name of LOVE. And I would start it all over again if I was forced to.

Now, I am not sure about this, but I think you do need to have a microsoft based account to use sky drive, so I just registered for a new email address at live.com via the link that Nich sent me and got access to skydrive and got the file.

Good luck.

Gemmie--done.

You should be getting an email to hotmail address. Sunnybear, you will get another because I left you in there. Save the files to your computer Gemmie because everytime I add a new permission it sends email to everybody. So I uncheck the permissions when I think the person has gotten the forms to keep from spamming the whole lot over and over.

The files print up better than they look on screen. If they look crooked, it's not the scanning....London's forms are a little crooked and poor photocopy quality. It's the April 08 version of forms.

Is Nich back in the forum yet? If not, you might not get a response until she has recovered from her wedding day festivities. I wish I would have saved the documents to my computer. I could have helped. Yes, Nich is a true sweetheart for helping others the way she does.

Nich-Nick can you please e-mail me a copy also. I appreciate you have had a lot of requests but I called NCV yesterday now and they received our application on October 6th. The woman I spoke to said it would probably take 5 working days to process and send to the London Embassy so we will hopefully get packet 3 soon. I really want to be prepared for this and have everything ready to submit immediately.

my email is stuart.morrison@live.com which is a microsoft windows account so should be ok and avoid the problems others have been having.

Your help is more appreciated than you'll ever know,

Stuart
