I am travelling to India in October for my brother's wedding. I was going to book the ticket however, have a slight confusion. My passport is in my maiden name and the greencard is in my married name. With which name should I book my ticket so I will not have any hassle while traveling?

So when I reenter the US and show them my greencard, will I need my marriage cert to show I am the same person??

that has nothing to do with what name you put on your airline ticket, but yes you should have that document available... When my wife re-entered a few weeks ago they did not even want to see her greencard....

For the past 3.5 years now, I have traveled with my passport in my maiden name, my tickets in my maiden name, and my US ID (immigration and state DL) in my married name, and a certified copy of my marriage certificate. Have not had any troubles in the 5 trips I have taken.

Thanks a lot. I booked the ticket in my maiden name. Was just a bit confused. Can't ever be too careful with immigration...
