When you say visa appointment letter what letter are you referring to, the notification letter from USEM stating the applicant is eligible for interview or the interview appointment confirmation email from the call center?

The interview schedule confirmation email I received from the call center did not indicate my MNL case number so SLEC asked me to photocopy the USEM notification letter which shows my MNL case number along with my name. They kept a copy of both my interview confirmation Email and USEM notification letter.

The name of the applicant, the MNL case number, and the type of visa applied for (and maybe including the interview sched) are the main thing that SLEC looks for so if the "visa appointment letter" that you are referring to contains all these info then your fiancee is good to go.

in lieu of notification letter from embassy, a scanned copy of NVC letter will also do.. some people were also able to use NOA2 copy.

hope this helps.. Good luck and God bless.

Email/fax her a copy of the nvc letter they sent you in the mail it has uscis case # and manila case #. also tell her to print out the email confirmation that the embassy sent to her email. make sure she goes early 6am. If you are late you will be there all day. My fiance medical was only 3 hours. 7am -10am. So make she she goes early. she has to go back on and get shots on tues and the results which takes 5-10min
