I have a question: As part of the I-130 apllication there is paperwork that must be included inluding "Co-mingling of Financial Resources".

My husband and I are living in South Africa and the banks do not issue joint bank accounts anymore. Any suggestions on how we can show co-mingling of our financial resources or anyone know of a bank that DOES issue joint bank accounts. It really ruins the our documentation without showing this important factor.

Can you open an online account. Try HSBC. They have branches in SA. IF not a credit card, would be a good option. without a social security card he can not be an responsible party (name on the bill), but he would be a user and could have a card with his name on it.

you can not submit what you do not have or does not apply to you.

I did not submit any of that with my I-130 because it "did not apply" and my NOA 1&2 both got approved.
