I-134 Affidavit question

Hello. The affidavit of support asks the following questions

3. This affidavit is executed on behalf of the following person:

When I fill the form out for my foreign fiance, is the affidavit executed on behalf of me or on behalf of my fiance.

Secondly, when my Co-Sponsor fills the affidavit out, is it executed on behalf of me, or my fiance.

Lastly, it says

Name of spouse and children accompanying or following to join person:

Do I just per her name that even though she is my fiance, and not my spouse yet?

Name of spouse and children accompanying or following to join person: If your fiancée has no children you write 'none' in every line here. Your fiancée is not married so she does not have a spouse. Your fiancée herself has already been detailed earlier on in the question. See the example form.

Hey one more thing...

it says

Relationship to Sponsor. So when I fill it out, I put Fiance.

However, when my co-sponsor fills it out, what should he put for relationship to sponsor?

Thanks, the only thing I'm left wondering is what my co-sponsor should write here:

Relationship to Sponsor.

My co-sponsor is my dad, so should he put "future father in law?"? And on my own affidavit, I should put "fiance", correct?

Lastly, my dad put his name and his wife's name in the "I, (full name) residing at (address)..."

Will this be a problem if filled out this way, since his tax return was filed jointly with his wife. Or should he only put his name on the form?

Hey, bump for a quick reply. Just need to know what my co-sponsor should put for the "relationship To sponsor? " on the affidavit, and if my sponsor needs to change the name to reflect ONLY his name, of its ok that he put his and his wive's name. Thanks

If you search for these questions you're asking using the search forum, you'll find the answers.

Your co-sponsor can put "future father in law", or "prospective father in law".

Your co-sponsor needs to put his name on that line. Why he would put his wife's name I'm not sure.

Actually, in regards to "relationship to sponsor" wouldnt it be more accurate if he put "future DAUGHTER in law" since the question is asking what the relationship of my fiance is to the sponsor?

Yes, that's correct. I think this is the most frequent mistake on the form. I doubt they even get a laugh out of it anymore.

Hi, can anyone help me, I just need to know about the Afidavit of Support i'm filing for my husband, when should i file it? I just received the approval NOA2 this August6...Should i file it before his upcoming interview of he just needs to show it during the interview? Will there be a problem if i'm just starting to work right , I won't be able to file tax returns because I just finished college this May. I will just start work this month.. Is the interview subjected to denial if I just started working right now?...Is it okey if I have co-sponsors to file the Affidavit of support to make sure?Could he answer the interview by saying that we are both engineers and will be making a reasonable salary..??
