I have read your fiance's previous post & I have been thinking about you and what happened to your interview today. Di ka rin pala natuloy ... Pls try to get in touch or PM Ria (STEPHnRIA), she seems to know a very good lawyer. She was able to get her fraudulent marriage voided in 3months lang ata, bago lang talaga. They're right,annulment is not only costly but a BIG HEADACHE and it all depends what city you are going to file it.But i have a friend who have gotten her annulment after 8mos.If you want i can refer you to her,just let me know.

Yup,but she was asking where did my friend file hers.

I'm not really a member of this board but my story was close to the OP's that I was steered here by another dual member. I know the 8 month story from another message board. It wasn't so much the city in which the annulment was filed but that the attorney had Godchildren and contacts working as clerks for the proper judges and agencies and they spread cash to the right open hands.

There are a lot of factors that determine how much an annulment would cost. Some of these are: facts and issues of the case as well the ground being invoked for annulment, whether or not the annulment is being contested, the lawyer (law firm) that you hire (for example, ACCRA will charge a lot higher than a lawyer based in the province).

My advice in hiring a lawyer or law firm, is that make absolutely sure you trust your lawyer. The Atty-Client Relationship is one that is founded on trust. Also, choose a lawyer that has a good record with regards to the case at hand, which in your case is an Annulment Case, since there are a number of specialized areas/fields in the Practice of Law. For example, a great Corporate Lawyer doesn't necessarily mean that he/she would be a great Trial Lawyer.

hi nabasa ko ung thread mo dito..actually new bie din ako dito..naghahanap din ako ng lawyer for my annulment..pero nabasa ko ung sayo..kasal ka dito sa pinas db? nagpakasal ka ba sa hong kong noon kahit dka pa nagpapa annul dito sa pinas?pwede bang gawin un?i mean naghhnap kasi ako ng mas mabilis na paraan pra mkapunta sa fiancee ko na nasa usa..actually naiisip ko na din minsan kung pwede ba kami magpa kasal sa hong kong kahit na ako ay naninirahan dito sa pilipinas at sya nmn ay sa usa..pareho kaming wlang connection sa hong kong..please i need your response..paki e-mail mo nmn ako..ang tagal kasi sobra ng annulment dto sa pinas sabi ng mga lawyer na nka usap ko 1year and 6 months kung minsan 2 yrs pa dw... here is my email angelabasihan@yahoo.com thank you! sana may iba pang paraan para sakin pra mabilis akong mka punta saknya..sobra nkong stress....

those who promised you that the annulment process will be less than one year are not doing you any good..the legal process usually takes one to two years.. those who finish it in 6 to 8 months are either filed somewhere in mindanao which is not legal at all. kung masisilip yan ng supreme court, pwede yan i invalidate ang decision so babalik lahat sa step 1..kaya mabilis ang mga yan kasi ififake lahat ng hearing, non appearance ang parties at kunwari may hearing pero wala naman talaga...

nag audit na ang Supreme Court sa mga Courts na sobrang bilis ang annulment kaya yong mga dati mabilis naka red alert na don ang supreme court..

sa Pasay, you cant get a decision in less than a year..Maingat na rin ang mga courts ngayon...

Kahit anong klaseng kaso sa Pinas, kahit simpleng nakaw na tsinelas lang, aabot yan ng taon...the lawyer can do something to expedite pero at least one year sya.
