Brad, so you know some bangalis huh? I am bangali, though I came here too young to have any trace of the culture in me. That all changed when i went back and met my husband there. He is from Dhaka. He used to work as a sales exec. at a company where one of his collegue's had a caucasian wife, she wore the traditional sari and everything, it was so cute.

Yea...they don't study much in ESL most of the students but I am on his butt to take it seriously, being out of school for so long really makes people not want to study anymore. But he is trying and I am doing my best to help.

Nagi, how are you? I always write you half letters then stop, thinking I will find some time to chat with you. I have more time nowadays, can you tell me a time when you are free usually?

Natty, your presence here is unmistakable! lol :)

Hm...it is hot here finallllly! As soon as Peto is done with the midterm I am planning some beach time. I just cleaned every inch of our room, and body pains all over. Monday I start a lab study and of coarse the shadowing.

Hope you all take it easy and enjoy the summer days before it gets cold again.

Actually it is my parents who know them best. They hosted a bangali woman in their home when she was a student. Her parents were with the UN in Bangkok. I think her name was Nandita, and she married a bangali guy after giving her parents several heart attacks threatening to marry an American christian. The drama was too funny!
