oh its become a big business and money maker im sure for this area with people coming from all over to attend, remember this is okla we have the gameing alllllll over and its not on water like alot have to be, we had indian schools that kids were brought off the reservations to stay but i think its closed now, alot still get the tribal money handed down from generation to generation

Sounds familiar. My employer in Wisconsin years ago dealt with the Oneida Tribe casino "revenue sharing" arrangement. Every tribal member got a check every quarter. Maybe 10% of the people receiveing a check actually had a bank account, but the banks on "the res" had to cash all checks. The banks really prostituted themselves to win the right to manage the tribal trust money, and forge an alliance with the casinos. The tribal elders clearly didn't (by and large) understand what they were dealing with, and the fees charged to them were outrageous. Casino revenue all seemed like found money I guess.
