A 5 minute drive, 30-40 minutes on NJ Transit and another 15 minutes on PATH.

Heck, I've a few summers ago kids from the ghetto town next door made a habit of 'partying' in my neighborhood on the weekends and all it took from us was one phone call the cops put a stop to it. I like to rag on the po-po but I love the cops in this town.

Burbank cops are pretty good if you're a law-abiding citizen. I've only had fantastic interactions with them, especially the time when I had a Gypsy shake his fist in my face and threaten to punch me in the mall parking lot. (Yes, that happened and was not an acid trip.) Supposedly we have one of the highest per capita rates of police in the country. The police blotter usually reads, "Some stupid hipster left his Mini unlocked with an iPad on the seat, which was stolen; a brown-skinned person from North Hollywood was apprehended 20 minutes later at Norm's having a quesadilla."

Nice. If I drive 15 minutes and spend 10 minutes looking for a place to park, I could be in Penn using NJ Transit in 50 minutes flat.

Yeah that's why I like the smaller stations in the uglier towns. Some people are scared of parking in those places so there are always spots available.
