Reasons for Document Verifications

Hey guys! I'm a little bit confused, i have read from other posts about having a white and pink slip after their interview. Have u tried asking the Consul why he/she gave you a pink slip or put you on Document Verification? when in fact, all the documents you passed are originals.

What do you think guys that some needs to have DV & others are not??? I'm waiting for our interview sched now, so do you think i need to pay for my son & mine's DV now? we're on I - 130 case...does this needs Documents Verifications too?

I think it depends on the consul that will interview you. Some got lucky not to verify their documents. Your case might need that DV. But one thing you can do right now..pray that you will not included in DV process.

i think since this january or february 2008 (if im not mistaken) peeps have to undergo DV..

i think we all paid delbros P650 in metrobank for DV..

the reason behind the document verification is that somebody submitted a fake document during the interview..

and that's according to delbros..

One reason is that there are LOTS of fake CENOMARS in the Philippines due to no divorces allowed and the average pinay can't afford an annulment.

Tanx for your replies purdy_chris, envy_me & haole...well then, i guess there's no need for me to be on DV since i'm already married & no previous marriage & no need for CENOMAR too...i hope! hehehe...but still i'm not sure coz i had this problem with my birth certificate that even with the NSO you can hardly ready my name on it, it's very dirty.what i did was, i secured a copy from the Civil Registrar, have it certified by NSO & attached it to my SECPA copy of my NSO Birth Certificate which i mailed to the NVC... i just wish that, they don't have to question it anymore...
