My husband called VSC today to check if our application was okay. They told him that for immigration visa, it might take up to 9 months since they are working with the file from last year. I feel so sad and I don't even know if I should believe what VSC said. I am speechless at this point because it seems like this will take forever. :(

Every day Vermont has a new excuse for not doing what they are suppose to do. I don´t trust them.

It was so depressing.. I agree.. :crying: Why don't they find solution to that pesky backlogs? Or it was just a lame excuse?

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

They seem to care more about working visa and citizenship but not the immigrant visa. I guess all we can do just wait and wait.

If they're transfering everything from last year, how can they say they are working on last year's petitions? Perhaps for K-3s but not CR1s. So the answer sounds like someone just quoting the stated times and not really indicating what is going on at VSC.

Be prepared to wait. But don't rely on them to give you a realistic target.

Another July Filer got the approval of both I-130 and I129f from CSC.. What is going on with VSC? :crying:

I'm in line for a K1 but it's the same there too at VSC... :(

They've been taking double the time to cash cheques and the wait for approval is increasing, whereas CSC is decreasing.

I hope it's just because it's summer.
