Does Barcoded I-130 make a difference?

Although we didn't actually use an attorney to file, we did consult with an attorney about LEGAL options.

After being denied DCF, we were devastated and trying to think of ways to circumvent the system...but we wanted "legal" ways.

Attorney told us there were no legal ways to go around the system.

After paying $200 bucks for talking to him less than an hour, he gave us a barcoded I-130 and said it would help things

go faster than the I-130 without a barcode.

Well, considering that we were expecting to wait 6 to 9 months or more, and received approval in 37 days,

we're wondering why. Not that we're not happy about it...we're friggin' over-joyed. We'd just like to know if this info is

accurate and if it can help some of those starting off their journey.

Long question short...is there any empirical data that suggests barcoded I-130s are approved faster than those without?

u could've gotten it online! hehhehehehe

Love is an unexpected thing...and when it arrives grab it with all ur heart....it may pass u jsut once.......

01.23.08 : NOA1

04.21.08 : mailed I129F

04.22.08 : NOA1

05.14.08 : NOA2 both for I 130 and I 129F

06.26.08 : medical exam 2nd day PASSED!!

07.09.08 : interview day! PASSED! PINK SLIP!

07.15.08 : visa on hand!!!

08.01.08 : POE SFO (home with my papi!)

well in Philippines i think they only accept papers with barcode since its much easier for the people in the embassy to find ur data on ur interview date..they would only scan it..so fill up the form online and print it..faster process during the interview..i think..but not on the paper processing from NVC or USCIS..goodluck
