Receipt number does not exist

So we got our NOA1 for AOS, EAD and AP. I naturally immediately go to input my info into the USCIS website -- says receipt number not found for any of them. I then call -- input receipt numbers into touchtone phone -- not found. Talk to a human being on the Customer Service Helpline -- she tells me receipt number not found and that something is definitely wrong -- won't put my through to a CO because only my husband can do it. He calls and calls and is still trying to get through.

Incidentally, the receipt numbers on my checks are different -- off by about 3.

How worried should I be?

When did you get your NOA1? We got ours on May 12 and it wasn't until May 13 that we could 'track' it online on USCI website. Why don't you try in a few days from now? Sometimes it takes time for them to update their online system.

I got mine today, and naturally did the same as you and got the same answer, do not worry about this, wait a couple of more days and it will all be in the system.

We finally got through -- apparently they are having technical difficulties and it should sort itself out soon. I have tried every day for a week! Oh well, hopefully it fixes itself, at least I know they issued valid numbers.
