Hi All

Just wanted to introduce myself and say hello to all fellow UKers.

I'm in Falkirk, Scotland and my fiance is in Coralville Iowa. We've been together for two years and hoping to get the

I-129F petition sent off late September when my divorce becomes final.

I've been following the postings on the K1 forum for two or three months but have just recently found this little gold mine of information!

Just thought I'd warn you that I will have lots and lots of questions over the coming weeks ... :)

I've been busy browsing ... have already solved the problem of the hotel to book in London for my interview visit lol and the query about vaccinations .. :D

Visa Journey is great and I'm glad you're getting so much help. Maybe there will be a big dip in the processing times by the time you get to file. It could happen or we could always wish it to be that way.

I agree... we were going to hire a lawyer before I stumbled across this website and confidently told my fiancee that we don't need one anymore... we can do it on our own through these detailed guides and with the help of these lovely people! :D

Good morning everyone ....

Gemmi - yep, we were going down the lawyer route too until I found VJ. Now we're going to keep the money we would have spent and going on an exotic trip once the AOS is done instead. I'm putting the cart before the horse again I know lol - but I'm trying to be optimistic and upbeat about this whole process ...

Stevi - thanks for your welcome. I have found the guides very helpful indeed :D

Momma Nich - of course I remember you lol!! If it hadn't been for you I would not have found this wonderful site - so sending you many thanks for that! Oh, and many congrats too!

I am hoping that CA speeds up a little too .. but am being realistic. I have seen a few applications being approved before the six months .. so who knows? Fingers crossed ... ;)
