I just read it on the website that before we submit the 1-129F package. We have to make 2 copies. My fiance didn't make a copy. What would be the best thing to do? Should we get another I-129F & g-325a biographic information again?

Do you have one copy? You need one copy.

I made 2 copies....one for me and one for my fiance. The extra was a safeguard and for him to sort of study so he knew exactly what I sent in should any questions arise.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

This is only a recommendation, for the event that perhaps something fails to be sent to consulate by USCIS, and the counselor officer may ask for something missing at the interview.

You could do an I-129F and G-325A to bring to the interview just in case, but I doubt they will be needed.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

If you're able to, I would personally make another two copies of all the documents; one to send the foriegn fiance and one simply for peace of mind. Did you send all the originals then?

We printed off two copies of everything but only complied one of them for the original packet. As it's being processed, my fiancee is going to make sure the copies are created as before and send one of them to me.

I think when he got the I-I29F package from the website, he submitted it all without even making a copy.. I'm just worried because I'm thinking We could get another I-I29F on the US embassy website but was just worried about the date coz it should match from the first I-129F that we submitted. right?

Like a previous poster said, I think it's more a back-up in case something gets lost... in which case, it would no longer be the original anyway!

I always make copies for my own peace of mind. If something gets lost from that packet sent to the USCIS, you have backup. I've never needed any of it. However, it was easier to pull a document out of the copy file when I needed it further down the process. I didn't have to go looking for it and make copies.

Really, you should have a file of originals too. I have to admit I've been a little lax doing that. They can ask for them later if they don't like the copy. This this hasn't ever happened to me either. I'd never send the original document for evidence (unless specifically instructed to send the original) , they plan to keep them...

As a funny sideline, the Embassy wouldn't accept a Certified Original of my wifes Annulment papers. They liked the copy that I made and insisted looked more like an original! Go figure.

Cheers

If you already have your NOA2, then you need to forget about what was submitted with the I-129F package, and start collecting everything needed for the interview.
