NVC delay in mail

calling out ppl who went thru their NVC process quickly...

My case at NVC was received on August 1st... latest message I heard was they received my AOS documents and waiting on choice of agent..email hasnt gone thru yet..its been 10 days.

But anyways, my question is i'm far along the process but in 14 days I have yet to even receive any Paper Mail from them saying they recevied my case from USCIS and here is the case #...all so far is thru automated msgs.

I even called NVC to find out if my address is correct...

How long usually it takes to receive a letter from NVC saying they received ur case from USCIS? Is paper mail usually this slow for everything?

the email takes longer nowadays it usally takes 2 weeks until you get a response. As far as documents being sent to you may have to wait upto 3-4 weeks. I got mine very late. I had to call NVC to make sure my address and my husband's address was right but his was wrong and I had to correct it twice. That is good that they have received the AOS because once it is in their system it is done with processing. Just give it a couple of days it will go thru. Good luck.

First mail you will get from NVC is when they will generate your AOS packet fee bill ($70) along with that, you will be a copy of DS-3032. In that letter, they will mention your case number and the beneficiary's address, which they have in their file..

In my personal experience of getting paper mails from NVC was roughly between 3 to 4 days after they mail. But they don't mail very often... If you are lucky than they will let you the correct date ..well.. i was not... (every time i called.. operators told different dates) Hard to believe which one is right..

Uhhhhhhhh! we are done with NVC and the only thing that we have got in the mail is the ds3032 and the answer for an Inquiry to change the beneficiary's address... So if I were you I wouldn't worry about a thing!!! Good Luck... I hope you are using Loto's guide or James's shortcut to get out of NVC fast!!!

Once you pay the AOS/I-864 bill then they have received and it is generated you can send the package along with all the required documents. If you paid online you can print out the coversheet and sent The very next day if all your documents are there. Good luck

You can also use James's shortcut, we used them....

By the way Happyinlove CONGRATULATIONS on your case complete....We are still waiting....
