Hi Everyone,

Thanks for participating in this general poll.

My Vote: Yes-Forever

Explaination: I thought it would be interesting to ask this question, as due to finances (yes, I need to cut back on the cable for the money to pay for these skyrocketing immigration costs) and other reasons, I had to give up watching television. Despite that, I don't really like television anways, as there really isn't much on, so it's not worth my time. Besides there are better things to do in life (oh, getting out and enjoying the fresh air, and posting on VJ sometimes), in my opinon, than to watch tv.

What's your vote? "Can you live with or without television?"

I don't think I could live forever without TV. There are several shows I love and would hate to miss.

I rarely have the TV on during the day- I like the quiet.

I stopped watching TV a few years ago.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I normally have the TV or something on if I'm watching it or not. I have a friend who doesn't have a TV in their house. When they moved here they decided that they want their kids to be more active instead of sitting around the TV all day. They have a DVD player in their car for trips but otherwise no TV.

Life is a ticket to the greatest show on earth.

growing up we had a TV but we were only allowed to watch certain shows.. of course we hated that but looking back I appreciate it.. we spent more time using our imaginations etc...

anyways so when I moved out I kind of went on TV watching binge

now I still watch TV but I can go all day without turning it on....

I don't own a TV. I watch DVD's on the computer. I wish all TV came through the computer. I'll watch www.hulu.com if I want to see TV. If a friend has cable and they get the home and garden channel then I most likely will be watching that. I love the design shows.

I always have the TV on, even if I'm not watching it. I like background noise.

Yes, I *could* live without a TV, of course, but I would not want to.

I am the same way too. Even if I am not watching it, I also like background noise!

I'm too busy to watch a lot of TV, but once and awhile I like to watch certain programs and I do like the background noise. Like now my TV is on because I love the Olympics and I can't imagine not being able to watch them...

I have spent months without TV though and I was fine.
