Hi all,

I had an interveiw few weeks ago and the case still being held for file review to combine files together. But still I am confused and jittery. If the officer took my I -94 on interview day, does this mean you are approved or no?

Thanks in advance & Good luck to all of us.

if the i-94 is expired there is very little value to having it anyway...

Frankly I was surprised they didn't take the I-94's at the AOS interview. The Immigration officer took them in Seattle after a trip back to the Philippines, and mentioned that they should have been taken earlier. By the AOS interview they should be expired anyway...

We're in the exact same boat. No change. Waiting for files to be combined when we only should have one on file.

They took my I-94 too but from what i hear that's just what they do.

Hi AAFenton,

Thanks for the reply. I understand each case is unique and glad to hear someone else exactly in a same shoe. Did they also take your EAD? mine didn't.

That is "ouch". At that moment, what did they give you? they provided you a piece of white sheet checked with background check or any other?
