nvc recived my ds230 packet

just want everybody know that my ds230 package was already recive by the nvc..i wish they review it fast so they can send it to the local embassy here in manila...well how long they will review it???thanks to everyone.

1 or 2 weeks, that if you don't get aby RFE!

We called NVC today and a really nice operator said that everything was already in the system, he told us to call in a couple of days to see if there was any advance in our case...

I sent mine on 8/6/08 and they entered it into their system on 08/08/08. I called today and a rep told me that everything is in order and they are just waiting for a case completion. Usually it can take 6-8 weeks is what they say but maybe even faster if there isn't any RFE's. Good luck.

thanks guys... wen we called NVC they told me we need to re submit my affividavit of suppport cos my hubby missed one line and it needed to be re send new form. can anyone know how to obtain a RFE BARCODE???so we can send the form again..

If you paid online you can reprint the barcode from the website but if you paid through the mail then you would either wait for the RFE or through James Shortcuts on VJ. It shows you how to create a barcode. Type in the search:James Shortcuts.

Since they want you to sent a new AOS form it is the same.

Ohhh That's true!!! they want the entire form back, so definetly you can send it corrected now.... Try to make sure that the RFE letter doesnt say anything else... because if it does you will get another RFE... call NVC, ask the operator and make sure...

yes i called them lastnight they confirm to me that the only missing is my husband's name on line #30 and everything is was fine...ahhh i thought that their is a specific barcode they need if we had an RFE..thanks guys i will talk to my hubby and make them sent it ASAP

this guy read somewhere (i am trying to find where) that the i864 has another barcode... it's not like the ds230, with the ds230 you can print the barcode with the i864 you cant
