DS-230 NVC rep response

I just finished talking to the NVC rep and she told me that all of the information on the DS-230 was perfect and no error was found but the only thing they are waiting for is a case complete. She told me by the latest it should be completed by next week and call by Wednesday of next week for interview date. This is weird :wacko: because I call the NVC like everyday and none of the other reps say this. They just tell me to wait 6-8 weeks for a response. I am really hoping that this rep is right :thumbs: . Does anyone receive this kind of information from the NVC reps?

USCIS Journey

03/15/08 Sent I-130

03/17/08 I-130 received (USPS) (Priority Date)

06/28/08 Received NOA2 hardcopy: NO RFE FROM USCIS:101 days

NVC Journey

07/01/08 NVC case# assigned

08/14/08 CASE COMPLETE: NO RFE FROM NVC:44 days

09/15/08 Interview date assigned

Embassy Journey

10/01/08 Case at embassy

10/08/08 Document verification and got interviewed (Approved)

10/09/08 Pick up visa (original interview date)

10/18/08 P.O.E ~ Seattle

Removing Conditions

07/23/2010 Mail off I-751(USCIS received on 07/26 via usps)

07/26/2010 NOA1 date (notice received 8/2/2010)

07/28/2010 Check cashed

08/20/2010 Biometrics appt.(notice received 8/7/2010)

08/20,21,23 touched

10/22/2010 Approved NO RFE(2 months and 3 weeks from filing date)

Citizenship

10/7/11 N-400 Submitted

10/13/11 NOA date

10/20/11 appt letter sent for biometrics

11/9/11 Biometrics appt

11/11/11 Email of interview scheduling received

11/14/11 Interview scheduled and mail sent

11/21/11 Interview letter received

12/19/11 Interview date

12/19/11 passed interview and oath Finally a citizen(2 months 1 week and 5 days from sending N-400)

I have never had that detailed of a response, although all of the representatives have generally been very nice (except one guy!).

Happyinlove, I am calling NVC nonstop because that is exactly what I want to hear--case complete on the way!

2008-05-02.....NVC Received

2008-08-20.....Case Complete at NVC

2008-10-14.....Interview--221g, asked to present joint sponsor inspite of NVC approval

2008-11-07.....Visa due to arrive. DHL truck delivering visa was robbed, Consulate required us to present I-864s and DS-230 again, had to get a new passport and other related documents

2008-11-14.....Presented all new documents in person at Consulate, visa printed same day

2008-11-25.....POE Atlanta

2008-12-26.....Green Card and 2nd Welcome Letter arrive

2010-09-02.....Date of NOA ROC 1-751

2010-12-13.....Approval of ROC

2011-01-12.....10 year Permanent Resident card arrived

2011-12-20.....N-400 Application mailed

2011-12-29.....NOA

2012-02-02.....Walk-in biometrics (appt was for 2/16)

2012-04-17.....Interview

2012-05-18.....Naturalization Ceremony

Ok, so with the NVC the standard processing time for most documents they receive is two weeks, right? This is just a guess, a ballpark number but if you count 2 weeks from the date they received your DS-230, then 2 weeks to complete the case, they should be scheduling your interview during the first two weeks of September.

Again, that's just a guess based on other cases.

You are right. I called and they told me that I did not make in time for September interviews but maybe October or even later. This really sucks.
