i think it's separate DV for your son since it's a DV/person.. im not sure..

some people here might have better answer abt that tho..

if you're not prepared yet, you can schedule your interview later..

like as soon as your ready.. don't rush..

there are lotsa documents to be prepared plus the medical if you're not done yet..

just make sure it wont take you forever to do that..

goodluck..

yeah, envy_me is right, no need to rush, make sure everything is ready, all necessary docs are complied to avoid problems, slowly but surely. Plus you have to have a passport first. Wait for your passport to arrive before you call USEM for your interview sched. You need to present your passport at St. Luke for your medical. There is a separate fee of your son for his DV and even to his medical.

Good luck. God bless. :)

envy me is right about the DV. you would have to pay 1300 for you and your son. its 650 per document verification per person. passports usually take 10 business days (roughly 2 weeks) before it can be processed/released (based on my experience with the DFA - had mine delivered at my doorstep through 2GO).

make sure you have everything completed before you set an appointment date so as not to complicate things.

this website can be of help to you check it out: http://manila.usembassy.gov/wwwh3023.html

good luck!

I agree with everyone. DON'T RUSH JUST TAKE IT SLOWLY BUT SURELY.

While waiting for you passport, gather all the documents needed.

You can't have medical if you don't have your passports yet (you & son)

So, comply everything first before setting for an appointment.

Goodluck and God bless. :)
