My parents have agreed to be the co sponsor so do they just have to fill out the 134 form or is there something more that they must do?

I know that I have not made enough money this year to do it on my own because I have been in Chile the whole time.

ALSO, Ro and I have put together a packet of meeting, does this just need to have passport stamps, boarding passes, and pictures of our first meeting in the US? or should we include my boarding passes, stamps and pictures of my trip to Chile too?

Your parents only need to complete the form and supply copies of any supporting documents, then get it (the I-134) notarized.

As for having met - I'd include bording passes, etc for both (all) trips - can't hurt. (Check What to send to your fiance(e) once the I-129F is approved (Receive NOA2)

You only need proof of having met in the last 2 years for your initial submiision. Submit evidence both her and your trip.

I-134 and co sponsorship won't come into play until the embassy interview.

If you still live in Chile you should consider doing a I-130 DCF.

That's if they are married - there is no DCF for K-1 fiance visas.

Sorry I should have been a bit clearer. If still living in Chile. Marry and do a DCF!

thank you!! I think we will marry and do DCF it looks to be faster then going for the K1

Not only faster but CR-1 are MUCH better visas than a K1 or K3 as CRs are immigrant visas and you get your GC and SSN in the mail a short time after arriving in the US. No need to go thru the cost and hassle of adjusting status like K visas have to do. CR-1 is cheaper also!

You will have to establish domicle in the US. Also file any back taxes you didn't file unless you have a valid reason for not filing. Get co sponsor also.

Main thing is to have a mailing address, bank account and a place to live in the US. He can come and go to and from Chile as he pleases.

He does have to show as being a resident of Chile for a certain period. Most embassys require 6 months. I'm not sure about Chile.
