Too bad I fell asleep! All the good stuff is on so late!

i saw them compete last night, they were very good..

I saw the vaults and then fell asleep during the uneven bars. I'm glad I can watch it online! In fact, what better way to spend a Friday at work!

my connection sucks @ work I can't watch it from here, it's supposed to be DSL but it's slow as fukc..

hey, isn't there like a fancy gymnastics show at the end of the competition? what they call a gymnasts gala? like the floor exercises with the ribbon or the ball..

I remember those from past olympics, or they don't do that anymore?

That was a separate event with different competitors - called rhythmic gymnastics IIRC. I remember loving that - the ribbon, the ball, the hoops, and the pins I think were the events. They must have eliminated the event?

Oh no, I just checked they do still have them. I hope they show them on TV - they used to be very popular.

The Gymnastics Artistic competition will be held August 9-20.The Gymnastics Gala will take place Wednesday, August 20.

I think they have both rythm competition and the gala..

aghh its 14:00 beijing time.. so it'll be 2am here
