i know this is in the wrong spot and its not VISA related at all but i wanted to know whats the cheapest way to call a cell in india. i use airtel call home and it's 5 cents/min. is there anything cheaper then this..cuz i recharge airtel every 2 weeks for $100...

You got a better deal. I use reliance and it comes to 8 cents/min. When I recharge for 5.+ dollars, I get 63+ min.

My husband calls his friends and family in India a lot. He uses Freecallplanet.com and gets 4.8 cents a minute and when that is used up, for backup he uses raza.com $10.00 for 161 minutes (about 6 cents a minute).

We use voipdiscount.com and voipbuster.com.

The calls are FREE for us, just 5 cents per connection for an hour. There is a limit per week for FREE calls, but you can setup more than one account to get more FREE calls.

I believe it's 3 cents/min for calling India, but it's FREE for your spouse in India to call any US phone numbers.
